Cortese (pronounced Kort-ay-see) has its origins in Piedmont, Italy. Although rarely seen in Australia, we’ve discovered this fantastic example.
In the glass: Mid straw.
On the nose: Aromatic stonefruit lift.
On the palate: Clean and vibrant with peach and pear throughout and lovely mouth-feel and texture making it an excellent food wine. A good example of the variety – dry, savoury, neutral and textural.
