Fresh from the Yarra Valley where Dominique Portet draws on ten generations of family winemaking experience, this wine was described by the Tasting Panel as “a Sauvignon Blanc for Chardonnay drinkers.”
It shows very ripe, lifted melon and tropical fruit aromas with subtle notes of honey, toast and vanilla. Quite rich and atypical in style with juicy layers of fruit, soft acidity and an almost creamy savoury length from lees stirring.
