Drayton's Family Wines Nouveau Chardonnay 2014

One of the pioneering families of the Hunter Valley wine region, Drayton’s continue to produce wines of character and regionality like this lovely 2014 Chardonnay.
 
In the glass: Pale gold colour.
On the nose: Peaches and cream with touches of sweet lime and fresh vanillin oak. 
On the palate: A rich and flavoursome yet vibrant and intense wine with ripe layers of stonefruit and citrus, lime-like acid freshness, a sweetly-fruited finish and nutty, leesy persistence.
