Hamelin Bay’s Drake-Brockman family have an association with Margaret River that dates back over 180 years; plenty of time to get to know the terroir and how it can be transformed into classically regional Chardonnay.
Pale lemon with a slight green hue, it presents lifted stonefruit on the nose with a nutty, leesy complexity and spicy oak. The very generous palate has loads of pineapple, citrus, melon and stonefruit drive enhanced by a creamy cashew-like mouthfeel and underpinned by quality toasty oak.
