The 2013 vintage in the cool-climate Adelaide Hills produced wines with purity of fruit, beautiful acidity, length of flavour and great ageing potential as displayed in this 2013 Chardonnay crafted from grapes sourced from Henschke’s Archer’s vineyard.
Elegant and classy, this Chardonnay is a very pale lemon in the glass with subtle aromas of peach, grapefruit, lemon blossom and hazelnuts. It has been made in a modern style and shows energetic stonefruit, citrus and grilled nuts supported by restrained quality oak. While it displays great richness and power, this Chardonnay retains a charming elegance.
