Mitchell Semillon 2015

The Clare Valley is justifiably famous for Riesling, but Semillon also does very well there – Mitchell Wines are renowned for their barrel-fermented take on the variety.
 
In the glass: Bright mid yellow.
On the nose: Pine lime fruit and vanilla lift.
On the palate: Clean, crisp and fresh with lemony fruit intensity, background vanillin oak and juicy drive to the long finish. An energetic and youthful oaked style, showing the versatility of the variety.
