Murray Street Black Label Viognier 2011

While Viognier can be a challenging varietiey to get right, Murray Street Vineyards have risen to the task with delicious success!
 
This pale to medium straw coloured Viognier delivers appealing aromas of sweet apricot, paw paw and tropical fruits. Obvious Viognier varietals flow through from the nose, but without the heat or oiliness sometimes associated with the variety. Very dry with firm acidity and a sherbet-like finish. Delicious with chermoula prawns on zucchini cakes.
