Pig in the House Organic Chardonnay 2013

Originally home to 20 free range pigs and located 20 kilometers from Cowra in the beautiful Central Ranges of New South Wales, the certified organic and biodynamic Pig in the House vineyard produces premium wines like this 2013 Chardonnay.
 
An appealing straw green in the glass, this Chardonnay opens with traditional stonefruit, melon, citrus and cedary oak aromas. The palate is surprisingly restrained and tight and made in a modern style with layers of white peach and grapefruit balanced by crisp acidity.
