Riposte by Tim Knappstein The Stiletto Pinot Gris 2015

Tim Knappstein has created another fantastically food-friendly Pinot Gris from cool-climate Adelaide Hills fruit. Try this powerful and fleshy Gris with Mediterranean dishes like barbequed vegetable and haloumi skewers.
 
In the glass: Pale straw, faint bronze hue.
On the nose: Strong and lifted mix of dried herb, pear, apple and light elderflower.
On the palate: A powerful and glossy wine firmly in the Gris style with a fleshy texture, mouth-filling flavours and long acid drive.
