Rochford R Isabella's Vineyard Chardonnay 2012

Winner of two Trophies at the Victorian Wine Show in 2013, this Chardonnay was produced from fruit grown exclusively in Rochford’s Yarra Valley vineyard.
 
After crushing and pressing, the juice was cold settled to a bright level. The wine was aged on yeast lees for 21 months in seasoned French oak barrels.
Presenting brilliant nectarine freshness, the nose has melon and fig perfume over vibrant background ozone and sea salt.
 
The palate is refined with a juicy core of white and yellow stonefruit and delicious texture supported by warm cashew creaminess and oak spice.
