You rarely get the chance to taste an aged Sauvignon Blanc, as it’s not a variety that usually cellars well, but here is an amazingly vibrant and fresh 10-year-old example that absolutely wowed the Panel!
In the glass: Fresh straw green.
On the nose: Lifted fresh, bright white melon and pear.
On the palate: Bold and rich with delicious balance of ripe, satiny fruit, which is lifted and long, flowing to a creamy and harmonious finish. Amazingly fresh and bright.
