Woodvale Sharegarden Semillon 2014

Woodvale Vintners is a new venture by Kevin Mitchell, winemaker at Kilikanoon. Semillon is the unsung white variety of the Clare Valley, but this wine demonstrates how good it can be.
 
In the glass: Pale lemon.
On the nose: Ripe lemony fruit lift and nutty oak.
On the palate: Very crisp and tight with intense lemony fruit power, persistence and quality toasty oak. Shows good layers of flavour and citrus acid freshness throughout.
