Mount Pleasant Lovedale Semillon 2013

Nowhere else in the world does Semillon age quite like in the Hunter. This is an exceptional wine with toasty honey characters.
 
In the winery: The juice was fermented with a specific neutral yeast strain chosen to promote the vineyard specific flavours, and fermentation was conducted at cold temperatures to retain its delicacy.
In the glass: Bright mid gold.
On the nose: Rich and toasty with ripe citrus and honey notes.
On the palate: Full flavoured and strongly varietal with lemon butter, nectarine and nougat characters. Terrific acid intensity and toasty flavour persistence.
