In Australia Savagnin was known as the Spanish variety Albariño until it was later identified as Savagnin – which is why Angullong named it “The Pretender”.
This bright, pale lemon coloured white presents lifted citrus, elderflower and light stonefruit aromas. Rich and generous yet clean and fresh, the palate has mouth-filling layers of lemon, peach and musk, chalky textural hints and zesty acidity.
