Alkoomi Shiraz Viognier 2016

Alkoomi were the pioneers of the Frankland River region, with second generation farmer Merv Lange planting vines in 1971. Merv’s daughter Sandy and her husband Rod Hallett continue to build the business with the next generation in mind.
 
In the glass: Deep brick red.
On the nose: Red berry, apricot and vanilla.
On the palate: Savoury with touches of herb, spice and smoked meat, an earthy layer and vibrant acidity through to the dry finish.
