Alkoomi pioneered winemaking in the Frankland River, with Merv Lange planting vines in 1971. Daughter Sandy and husband Rod assumed control in 2010, expanding the business.
Medium ruby. Dark fruits, bramble, confectionary, wood smoke, pepper and sweet spice. Medium to full-bodied with classic cassis and plum, alongside cedar, vanilla and char from time in oak. A classic WA red blend with good length and generosity of flavour.
