Annasdale Double V Verdelho Viognier 2012

Winemaker Neil McGuigan has been a viticultural legend in the Hunter Valley for many years, and with this complex and generous Verdelho and Viognier blend he continues his excellent reputation.
 
This pale lemon green coloured blend features a light tropical, citrus and apricot lift with subtle musk and ginger notes. Its generous palate shows layers of bright tropical and citrus fruit, racy acidity and lemony persistence with none of the oiliness that is often associated with both varieties.
