This Best’s Bin 0 Shiraz 2012 was produced from the four original Shiraz plantings in the low yielding blocks of the historic Concongella vineyard at Great Western.
The fruit for this wine was hand-selected, sorted and fermented in small batches and matured in the finest barrels in their underground cellar.
The resulting wine shows lifted peppery spice, masses of ripe black fruits and vanillin oak aromas. The palate shows great poise and intensity with dark fruit depth, complex hints of peppery spice and blackcurrant, underlying vanillin oak along with excellent balance of acidity and tannins. Shows amazing length, balance and youthfulness.
