Bremerton, in South Australia’s Langhorne Creek, is a strictly Willson family affair, with daughter Rebecca their highly-awarded winemaker. Her prowess shows in this Limited Release Cabernet made from a selection of their best Cabernet barrels.
Dark red with a brick hue, it greets the nose with regional spearmint lift over dark fruit, earth and leather aromas. Plush, juicy and concentrated, the palate is alive with old vine fruit intensity and depth with deluxe toasty oak harmony. It’s massive and almost sweet, but deliciously textural and charming.
