In the winery: Fermented for 10 days, then pressed off skins to French oak, approx 30% new. Malolactic fermentation was followed by maturation in barrel for 18 months.
In the glass: Deep, dark red.
On the nose: Ripe, juicy blackberry, mocha, liquorice and leather aromas.
On the palate: Rich and flavoursome, it’s loaded with dark berry fruits, savoury, layered tannin depth, assertive oak and crisp acidity.
