Chalkers Crossing Riesling 2012

Parisian winemaker Celine Rousseau brings her Bordeaux know-how to all Chalkers Crossing wines including this fresh, vibrant Riesling from the cool climate Hilltops region.
 
In the glass: Pale lemon.
On the nose: Lifted lemon and lime with light secondary toast and honey in the background.
On the palate: Still fresh and vibrant with a delicate core of citrus fruit. The acidity is starting to soften, yet it retains primary zest. Will continue to reward with some time in the cellar.
