Chrismont La Zona Arneis 2012

‘Arneis’ is Italian for ‘little rascal’ because it has a reputation for being difficult to grow. But it does exceptionally well in Victoria’s King Valley as you’ll experience in this savoury drop.
 
In the glass: Pale lemon.
On the nose: Slightly nutty with aromas of light stonefruit, pear and red apple.
On the palate: Quite a neutral and savoury with a beautiful mouth-watering texture and minerally acidity. Shows layers of pear, apple and citrus with a hint of almond and almost salty length.
