A Gold at the Royal Adelaide is a great introduction, but it's the wine that will make you wonder why you haven't been giving Cabernet from the Vale more attention.
Dark, almost opaque garnet. Blackcurrant, redcurrant, smoked tea leaf and mint. Rich, ripe and concentrated dark berry and bay leaf, with cassis, cedar and tobacco complexity, long textural tannins and quality oak on the persistent finish. Classy.
