This wine is an unusual and interesting blend for the Hunter Valley that’s been crafted by a boutique Cabernet Franc specialist vineyard, owned and managed by husband and wife team, Neal and Carol Crisford.
It is an inky and dense blend with dark fruit, spice rack, tobacco and gun smoke aromas typical of the Cabernet Franc variety. Savoury red and black fruits, layers of tobacco, earth and oak with lovely texture and mouthfeel, fresh acidity and fine tannins.
