The “Menagerie” describes the adjoining blocks of Grenache, Shiraz and Mataro at Dandelion’s Barossa vineyards. But there’s nothing wild about this seriously smooth blend.
Medium to dark red in the glass, it presents lifted red berry fruit aromas with a curious hint of fresh buttered popcorn. It has a plush, sweet core of dark berry fruit with a smooth and supple mouthfeel, velvety tannins and silky persistence. Shows excellent line and length in a medium weight style.
