David Hood excels with alternate varieties, and his latest Barbera is one of the best we've recently tasted. Lip-smacking appeal throughout.
Deep red purple. Fine, fresh and bright red cherry, florals and pine. Long and savoury red cherry and liquorice core depth giving a delicious and layered mouthfeel, with fine and soft tannins, and plenty of varietal appeal. A lovely food wine.
