David Hook Pinot Noir 2012

From David Hook’s 27-year-old Pothana vineyard, this Pinot Noir has all the attributes of fine expressions of the variety.
 
David Hook’s Pinot Noir is light to medium red in colour and exudes ripe cherry, plum, cranberry and toasty oak aromas. Warm and long, the appealing palate is quite a rich example of the variety with layers of red and black fruit flavours, lifted spice, a hint of varietal stalk and toasty oak.
