Driftwood Artifacts Shiraz 2011

While it’s Cabernet Sauvignon that has put Margaret River on the red wine map, this delightfully balanced Shiraz by Driftwood shows that the other great red variety can do just as well.
 
Medium to full red purple in the glass, this standout wine presents lifted white pepper and blackberry aromas. The palate is medium bodied with a velvety texture, soft tannins, lovely balance and peppery length. It’s really vibrant and youthful and will develop well in the cellar.
