This perfumed Shiraz was made by PJ Charteris, who spent 12 years at the Hunter Valley’s Brokenwood vineyard working with the venerable Iain Riggs. In 2010, PJ was named Hunter Valley Winemaker of the Year.
Medium red in the glass, this Shiraz delivers dark plum aromas with earthy notes and hints of violet perfume. It has a lovely medium weight, well structured palate with a core of red fruits and hints of leather and sandalwood. A well made wine in a classic savoury regional style.
