This unique Merlot Shiraz blend has been made by one of the Hunter Valley’s recent success stories, Liz Jackson, who was the region’s 2011 Winemaker of the Year.
Medium red to purple in colour, it exudes delicate yet lifted aromas of plum and blackberry with background pepper and tobacco. Plush, ripe and soft, the elegant-style palate has a deep core of peppery black fruit, velvety tannins and fine oak, with all the elements in perfect harmony.
