Eldredge Boundary Shiraz Cabernet 2015

Shiraz is the king of reds in Clare, but Cabernet runs a close second, so the classic Aussie blend of the two varieties works a treat here.
 
In the glass: Inky dark red.
On the nose: Spicy dark plum fruit with blackcurrant and eucalypt notes.
On the palate: Rich, plush and juicy, yet shows lovely savoury appeal of fleshy plum and dark berry fruit, notes of cedary oak and damp earth, fine-grained tannins and fresh acidity.
