2019 was an excellent vintage in the Hunter, and although warm, produced some really elegant reds, like this beauty from First Creek.
Medium to deep purple. Fresh raspberry, cherry, plum, pepper, bay leaf and cedar. Medium-bodied with a supple mix of red and blue fruit, velvety tannins balancing the fruit sweetness, cedar oak support and a crisp acid finish.
