Gapsted 500ml Mountain Gold Limited Release Late Harvest Semillon 2009

This beautifully aged, limited release dessert wine comes from premium cool climate vineyards in Victoria’s King Valley.
 
In the glass: Medium gold.
On the nose: Lifted preserved lemon and lemon curd under apricot, marzipan, vanilla and honey.
On the palate: A luscious, viscous wine with plump layers of butterscotch, apricot and crème brulee. Shows lovely balancing acidity and terrific bottle development adds complexity. Perfectly balanced.
