This is one of Gartelmann's flagship reds, and perfectly displays the grace and balance of cool climate Shiraz. The follow up vintage to the trophy-winning 2015.
Medium to deep red. Very aromatic dark berry, toast and cedar. A full-bodied, deluxe wine with dark berry, plum, fruit cake and spice. Dense and concentrated yet well balanced by fine acidity and ripe tannins. Needs time to show its best.
