Thankfully, boutique producers Gartelmann were able to pick their whites before the deluge hit the Hunter and one of the results is this delightful Verdelho that’s bursting with fruit flavour.
Pale lemon in colour, it’s been made in a slightly sweeter style with aromas of spicy paw paw, tropicals and a hint of bubblegum. Its youthful palate has a tropical core of pineapple and paw paw, a lovely acid structure and good length.
