Dolcetto means “little sweet one” although it’s not a sweet style. This great Limestone Coast example is made to enjoy while young and goes beautifully with Geoff Hardy’s suggestions of confit pork belly with braised cabbage and spiced roast apple.
Perfumed floral, black cherry, dark chocolate and bakers spice aromas introduce a well balanced, juicy and easy-drinking palate with soft layers of dark fruit, spicy cherry and and bakers spice, shadowy tobacco-like tannins and dancing acidity.
