The grapes for this wine were grown on Hollick's 'Italian Block', on the cool south-western corner of the Wilgha vineyard in Coonawarra. Engaging and very varietal.
Vibrant and youthful dark red. Jubey red and blue fruit, and wood smoke aromas. Medium-weight, dry and savoury, with underlying crushed leaf and herb notes, excellent varietal character and intensity, and good development potential.
