Fruit for this Yarra Valley Pinot Noir is grown at Helen’s Hill Estate and fermented in open top fermenters before being transferred to French oak barriques for maturation.
Crafted by Scott McCarthy, it’s medium red in colour with a rich nose of red fruits, plum, earth and sweet spice. The full and rich palate has a lovely smooth texture, layers of dark berry and plum, hints of varietal mushroom and spicy length. This is a rich style of Pinot and quite atypical.
