Jackson’s Hill is located in the Hunter sub-region of Mount View, and they focus on sourcing ideal region-variety combinations, in this case, Sangiovese from King Valley.
Bright mid-ruby. Pretty nose of cranberry, cola and bay leaf. Dry, savoury and earthy, with a fine mix of red berries and crushed herbs, tight yet well-balanced acidity, and a dry finish. Very varietal making it an excellent food wine.
