Previously only known in Spain and Portugal, Mencia is quickly finding favour with Australian winemakers and wine drinkers alike. It's medium-bodied, savoury and spicy.
Medium to deep crimson. Fragrant and powerful aromas of cherry, sangria, bramble, vanilla, cardamom and bergamot. Bright red fruits with an easy mix of red cherry and rhubarb delivering satiny texture, with silken tannins and lovely balance.
