Leogate Estate Wines Brokenback Semillon 2012

Leogate Estate is one of Wine Selectors’ newer producer but they draw on the heritage of one of the Hunter’s most historic vineyards to producer stunning wines like this 2012 Semillon.
 
This classic Hunter Semillon is pale lemon with a green hue. Lifted aromas of lemon zest with hints of lanolin, straw, cut grass and spice lead to a clean, crisp palate with vibrant acidity and lime fruit depth. Long and minerally with lemony persistence. One for the cellar.
