The St George Vineyard is named after Surgeon Major-Hinton St George, who purchased a portion of the Coonawarra Fruit Colony subdivision in the early 1900s, and continues to produce exceptional wines like this 2009 Cabernet Sauvignon.
Deep and dense vibrant ruby in colour, this elegant Cabernet offers a nose of blackberry, tilled earth, plums and mint aromas. The palate showcases a dense core of black hedgerow berries with notes of dark chocolate, tobacco leaf and tilled earth whilst a solid cage of ripe tannins are intertwined through out the palate and the acidity ensures a fresh finish.
