Monterra Pinot Noir 2015

The Panel is always thrilled to unearth a new label, and this one has been flying well under the radar until now. This is a classic cool climate Pinot with lots of varietal character and a lovely texture.
 
In the glass: Dark Pinot red.
On the nose: Ripe dark berry fruit lift with damp earth and forest floor notes.
On the palate: With a sweet cherry and raspberry fruit entry, it’s supple and juicy yet has great structure from subtle oak and stalk characters and bright, youthful tannins.
