Full-bodied, intense and plush with a pristine core of red and black fruit, vibrant texture, deep tannins, subtle oak and touches of clove, anise and black pepper extending the long finish, it’s a lovely wine to enjoy with a fragrant, spicy Indian curry.
Probably the best-known organic producer in WA's Frankland River, Frankland Estate and their secondary Rocky Gully range present fantastic value and quality. Their 2018 Cabernet blend has a dark fruit entry with a robust tannin platform and strong peppery notes throughout, good concentration and a dry savoury finish. It’s very youthful and perfect with a selection of organic cheeses, pickles and flat bread.
