Chenin Blanc is a classic Swan Valley variety that originates from France’s Loire Valley. It offers terrific fruit richness and ability to age, and blended with Savagnin in this wine has given a nice lift and freshness.
In the glass: Pale to mid gold.
On the nose: Dusty citrus fruits and frangipani over apple.
On the palate: Supple and juicy with red apple, pear and stonefruit flavours, nutty, spicy complexity and a lightly honeyed finish.
