From Margaret River, the Thompson Estate Four Chambers Chardonnay 2019 is a highlight of the pack. “It was crafted by winemaker Paul Dixon who trained under the legendary Bob Cartwright of Leeuwin Estate fame, so it's no surprise to see a Chardonnay with such terrific varietal definition,” says Tasting Panellist Dave Mavor. “The palate is crisp and stylish with a refreshing entry of white peach, grapefruit and white pepper, fine citrussy acidity, creamy textural elements, lovely minerality and savoury oak in support.”
