It’s the first day of Spring and the Tasting Panel has released their STARS for the season. They’re shining a light on these taste sensations including a Mytikas Pinot Noir, Motley Cru Sangiovese, Concrete & Clay Light Dry Red, and more. Stellar value at just $14.50 a bottle.
A blend of Grenache, Shiraz, Mourvèdre and Cinsault, the Concrete & Clay Light Dry Red 2019 was inspired by some of the juicy, easy-drinking blends produced in France's Rhône Valley. It’s medium-bodied with a dark core of fruit, toasty coconut oak, velvety tannins and hints of cherry chocolate to finish. Superb with a simple wood-fired Margherita pizza.
Made by Sorby Adams using fruit from a vineyard in Adelaide, the Mytikas Pinot Noir 2021 is medium-bodied yet richly-fruited, showing good red fruit concentration and the start of bottle development, firm tannins and crisp acidity, and background savoury oak. A taste sensation served with tomato-based pastas like rigatoni amatriciana.
Hurry, with dazzling savings of $108, this collection will sell out!
