Each vintage, the Sauvignon Blanc grapes are the first to ripen in the Pertaringa vineyards and the scarecrows that are used to deter the local grape-loving bird life, have lent their name to this Sauvignon Blanc.
Opening with bright, ripe fresh gooseberry and asparagus with background regional dried herb lift. The palate is full bodied and spicy with lovely textural length driven by ripe, juicy gooseberry and slight leesy, fresh herb persistence.
