The name Soumah is actually a quirky reference to their location – South of the Maroondah Highway – which runs through the Yarra Valley.
In the winery: Mature vine fruit from Soumah’s Blue Stone Vineyard on the Warramate foothills was fermented in premium French oak using wild yeast.
In the glass: Medium ruby garnet.
On the nose: Black cherry, strawberry, raspberry and black pepper perfume.
On the palate: Vibrant and bright with a delicious core of tart red fruits, subtle stalk, spice, black tea and oak, long and silken tannin drive and a classy finish. Latent and elegant with loads of charm.
