Terra Felix is Latin for ‘lucky earth’ or ‘lucky country’, which is how owner Peter Simon’s father described Australia when he migrated from Austria.
In the glass: Deep brick red.
On the nose: Plum and tea leaf aromas.
On the palate: Medium weight, savoury and ripe with a spicy, jube-like core of black fruit, red berry-like acidity, well-judged oak, chewy tannins and a long, dry finish.
